The Annapurna circuit trek has been proved as a highly praised and spectacular trekking route in the Annapurna region. There are four region that are passed through this trek; lamjung, manang, mustang and myagdi. This trek is specially designed, which covers all the popular destination and tourist attractions of entire Annapurna region. This trek offers you to walk entirely around the Annapurna Massif. We trek through lowland villages to the remote northern slope of the Himalaya, Manang region and down the dramatic Kali Gandaki.

Annapurna alternative combine trek offers you the beautiful journey which begins from Kathmandu and takes you to the striking Annapurna Himalayas area. We will drive to besisahar by bus, drive to koto via rough road via hill, we will trek to Meta, visit and explore the Meta phu gaun, and we will trek to Nar phedi –trek to nor village and return to Nar phedi to continue the trail and finally we reach the most awaited destination Manang, we will trek to Yah kharka, Thorong phedi, Muktinath (sacred place for both Hindus and Buddhists) and jomsom. Now, we are almost at the ending of our beautiful trek. We will fly to Pokhara (Beautiful city of lakes, it’s also known as the gateway to the Annapurna circuit), then we will drive to Kathmandu and ends our beautiful journey over here.

Detailed Itinerary

  • Day : 1 Arrival at international airport and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel

    Arrival at Tribhuvan international Airport in Kathmandu Nepal, Representative of Leaf Holidays Treks & Expeditions will be on standby on airport to welcome you and will drop you to the hotel. Check into the hotel, you can visit the hotel site. Overnight stay at hotel

  • Day : 2 Trekking prepare & permit collection day. Overnight stay at hotel

    Today after breakfast in the hotel, you will be given a short briefing about trek (permit and trekking equipment). Overnight stay at hotel

  • Day : 3 Drive to Besishahar by bus (6 to 7 hour drive). Overnight stay at hotel

    Today after having breakfast at hotel we will start drive to Besishahar by bus. It takes about 7 hour drive by bus. You will have lunch on the way to Besishahar. Overnight stay at Guest house

  • Day : 4 Drive to koto by jeep. Overnight stay at lodge

    Today after having breakfast we will start drive to koto about 5 hour. This day we will be driving through rough road via hill. Overnight stay at lodge

  • Day : 5 Trek to Meta. Overnight stay at lodge

    This day after having breakfast at lodge in the morning we will begin our trek to Meta. It takes about 6 to 7 hour walk with stunning views. Overnight stay at lodge

  • Day : 6 Trek to Meta phu Gaon. Overnight stay at lodge

    After breakfast, we will start trek to phu Gaon. It takes about 5 to 6 hour walk. This area covered by Tibetan culture is announced restricted area by Nepal government. Overnight stay at basic lodge

  • Day : 7 Acclimatization Day in phu. Overnight stay at lodge

    Today you will have free day for Acclimatization or Exploring the beautiful phu gaun. Overnight stay at lodge

  • Day : 8 Trek to Nar phedi. Overnight stay at lodge

    Today after having breakfast, starting trek to Nar phedi. It takes about 6 to 7 hour walk. This day you will walk with beautiful views of nar phu valley. Overnight stay at lodge

  • Day : 9 Trek to Nar village and back to Nar phedi. Overnight stay at lodge

    After breakfast, trek to Nar phedi and back to stay in same place at Nar phedi. It takes about 6 to 7 hour explore. Overnight stay at same place at lodge

  • Day : 10 Trek to Nagwal via over kang La pass. Overnight stay at lodge.

    Waking up earlier then other days having breakfast and starting trek. This day is longest day during the trek. You have to cross the pass call kang la pass, it takes about 9 hour walk to get Nagwal. Overnight stay at basic lodge

  • Day : 11 Trek to Manang. Overnight stay at lodge

    Today after having breakfast in the morning we will start trek to Manang. You will walk with wonderful views of mountain range. You will walk down to beautiful valley. It takes about 5 hour to get Manang. Overnight stay at lodge

  • Day : 12 Trek to Yak kharka. Overnight stay at lodge

    Today after having breakfast we will start trek to Yak Kharka. It takes about 5 hour by walk to get Yak Kharka. Overnight stay at lodge

  • Day : 13 Trek to Thorong Phedi. Overnight stay at lodge

    After having breakfast, starting trek to Thorong phedi. It takes about 5 hour walk. You can go up high camp to stay overnight it’s up to you and also depends on your body condition. Overnight stay lodge

  • Day : 14 Trek to Muktinath via Throng pass. Overnight stay at lodge

    Today guide will make you early morning wake up and start trek to up thorong la pass. Today you have to cross 5400 mtr from Throng top all the way down to get Muktinath. Muktinath (holy place), it takes about 9 hour walk to Multipath. Overnight stay at lodge

  • Day : 15 Trek to Jomsom. Overnight stay at lodge

    Today you will have breakfast and start trek to jomsom. It takes about 5 hour walk. Overnight stay at hotel

  • Day : 16 Fly to pokhara. Sightseeing in pokhara city, Overnight stay at hotel

    After breakfast, ready for Airport transfer, fly to pokhara (20 minute), overnight stay at hotel. You will have morning flight from jomsom. Afternoon after hotel check in, you will start guided tour in pokhara city. Overnight in Pokhara

  • Day : 17 Drive to Kathmandu or fly. Overnight stay at hotel

    Today after breakfast at hotel we will fly or drive to Kathmandu.

  • Day : 18 Departure to international airport to return home or for next destination.
